Job Title: Communications and Youth Voice Coordinator
Reporting to: Director of Programmes
Responsible for: Working with the Programme Director and Head of Philanthropy, Enterprise and Growth to create and execute a communications strategy and creating opportunities for young people to be heard.
Salary: £21,157 p.a.
Location: London-based (SE1) with occasional travel to the Midlands, Sussex, Hampshire and Dorset and Yorkshire.
Start date: January 2022
End date: December 2022 (with the potential to extend)
Job Type: Fixed Contract (with the potential to extend)

Job Purpose & Key Responsibilities
This is an exciting new role in our organisation and we are looking for a committed, passionate self-starter to get the voices and opinions of the young people we work with heard by as many people as possible. The candidate will have the opportunity to shape this role as they explore the best ways to get young voices heard. The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing a communications strategy and creating opportunities for young people to speak and share their thoughts views and opinions at public forums.
In addition, the post holder will be expected to lead on general office management duties.
The key responsibilities of this role are set out here. The tasks are not a comprehensive list and other duties may be required as directed by the Line Manager. It is not expected that the post-holder will be doing all of these tasks at once.
