We are delighted to announce the details of our Speak Out Challenge events taking place across the country this summer! The Speak Out Challenge is a programme designed to develop young people’s confidence and communication skills, giving them the opportunity to speak out on issues they care about.
Year 10 students in Yorkshire, West Midlands, Suffolk, Sussex and East Anglia have participated in a speaking skills training workshop to develop their communications skills. A crucial part of the Speak Out Challenge is giving students a platform to speak and be heard, and an all-important opportunity to put the skills they have learnt into practice. Through a process of workshops, in-school assembly finals and in some cases, a digital semi-final, young speakers progress to compete in their regions’ final event. Finalists will share their views and opinions in the hope of becoming a Regional Champion!
The Finals are a huge celebration of young voices, with the winners selected by very special panels of VIP Judges whose participation gives further encouragement for speakers to share their views and feel listened to.
We would love you to join us at one of these fantastic events and see the culmination of the Speak Out Challenge programme in your area!
