The West Midlands Speak Out Challenge is back in Birmingham this year!
After some brilliant Digital Final events during the pandemic, we are delighted to once again host the challenge live onstage.
Young speakers from across the West Midlands will be sharing their views and opinions and competing for the title of West Midlands Speak Out Champion 2022 at Midlands Arts Centre on Tuesday 17th May, 6.30pm.
The West Midlands Speak Out Challenge has been running for 5 years, giving young people the confidence to express themselves. This year, we have worked with 776 young people across the region.
Following an expert-led interactive workshop, and an assembly final, speakers have been chosen to represent their school at the event. This final is a huge celebration of young voices, and no matter who the winner is, every participant has achieved so much in winning a place at the final.
The line-up of speakers and our prestigious panel of VIP judges will be announced in a few weeks. Watch this space!
